This code may indicate an issue in your APPS (Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor) or wiring harness between the pedal and ECM.

The P2127 code is most common after an auto to manual transmission swap in Model Year 03-04.5 Dodge Ram 5.9 Cummins trucks.  This is due to continuing to use the Automatic transmission style APPS instead of either:

• Swapping over to the stock manual transmission APPS for your model year truck
